A very interesting week

One of the most interesting parts of being an Executive Director of a national organization is the amount of meetings and conferences I have to attend. Recently we hosted Iain Duncan Smith and were invaded with ITV Wales, BBC Wales and local newspapers. Along with Iain was the Secretary State of Wales who has invited down to the Welsh Assembly.

My wife and I were then invited down to Lambeth, Palace for a reception with Archbishop Rowan Williams along with a host of politician's, broadcasters and TV personalities. While they all supt on wine and ate funny looking canopies the wife and I indulged in strong coffee and chatting with John Sargent and Michael Palin.

You never know in this line of work who you meet but one thing is sure there's never a boring day!
